An Ascendant line is a curve, not a stripe. The longitude where a planet rises shifts with latitude, and it shifts hardest near the latitudes where that planet stops rising at all.
Mars on the Ascendant is felt in the body first. The Ascendant is physical presence and Mars is the appetite for action, so the pulse of an ordinary day runs faster under it. It suits a chapter that needs starting more than one that needs finishing, and the reason every source attaches a warning is that the heat which gets a thing started is the same heat that picks a fight in a queue.

Nowhere in the gazetteer sits within 80 km of this line: no city of 100,000 people or more, and no national capital. That is a real answer rather than a missing one. This line spends its length over water, ice or ground nobody has built a city on.
